Mauj are an American-Pakistani pop/rock band from Houston, Texas.
The band was founded by the lead singer and guitarist, Omran Shafique.
The band released their first single "Khushfehmi", directed by Babar
Sheikh, in 2004 followed by another single "Paheliyan" which were both a hit at the music charts.

In 2008, they performed at the Coke Studio Sessions along with artists like Strings, Ali Azmat and many other successful artists. They released their debut album "Now In Technicolor" on 24 April 2009.
